1. Am I a good candidate?

2. What happens if my teenager loses one?

Not the end of the world.  This is often the biggest fear for parents.  Most often, your orthodontist will recommend moving to the next tray and wearing it for 2 weeks (instead of the usual 1 week) interval to help get your teeth back on track.  This means you don’t have to come into the office to fix the problem!  If your teenager had braces and ate a gummy bear, it’s likely that a brace would break and you’d have to report back to the office for repairs.  Invisalign can save time and money.

3. How do I keep them clean?

Brush the aligners with toothpaste morning and night just like you would your teeth.  Aligners are changed every week so every week you get a fresh set.

4. What will my teeth look like after?

With advances in technology, we can utilize digital scanners to run simulations that show you what your teeth will look like following treatment.    Patients are amazed and even inspired when they see what can be achieved!

5. How long do I have to wear Invisalign aligners?

This largely depends on your individual case.  Your orthodontist can evaluate your alignment and bite to give you the best approximation on treatment time.  Treatment time varies based on complexity, however some patients are finished in as little as 4-6 months!
